{sneak peek – Brett}

Published by Jan under senior

Brett’s session was held at a busy Potawatomi Park in St. Charles.  It was a wonderful Saturday evening for pictures and the park was a gorgeous place.  They had great stone walls & steps, trees, grass, and the beautiful Fox River.  Brett brought along a few outfit changes from dressy to jeans to shorts to mix things up a bit.

Brett is planning on attending Elgin Community College next fall with an undeclared major.   Enjoy your senior year Brett!

{sneak peek – Sara}

Published by Jan under senior

I LOVE repeat families! I did Sara’s older brother’s senior pictures last year so it was a real treat to be able to photograph Sara also! I was able to catch up with what her brother was doing away at college and also find our her plans. Sara is a very busy senior with being on the golf team and also has a major role in the high school production “West Side Story”.

Sara’s session started at her home in rural Hampshire and then we went to Muirhead’s Farmhouse. We had gorgeous weather and she brought along her clubs to include in the session. Sara is planning on studying Criminal Justice in college and is hoping to attend Carthage College in Kenosha. Good luck and enjoy your senior year!

What could be cuter…

Published by Jan under children

than a 2 year old red-head, overalls, & a John Deere tractor???  I’m thinking not much.  Here are a few of an adorable little boy whose session was held at Muirhead Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast.  We had a gorgeous day and he got to run all over the grounds exploring all the barns and having fun.  I got to follow him around and take pictures.  What could be better?

{sneak peek – Ryan}

Published by Jan under senior

Ryan’s session was held on a dreary, foggy Saturday morning after a tough loss on the football field Friday night.  But working and photographing Ryan really brightened the morning up and by the time the shoot was finished the sun was shining brightly!

Ryan has a lot of interests and was very excited about including them in the photo shoot.  His dog, Lou cooperated well with the excitement of the photo shoot.  His prize car, the imaculate Impala was driven on the lawn so the pine trees could serve as a gorgeous, natural backdrop.  We then headed up to the football field where we used the bright blue walls, the field, the bleachers and anything else we could find to use as backgrounds to use with his football jersey, football equipment,  class ring, and his letterman jacket

Ryan is planning on attending Elgin Community College to study Fire Science.  Enjoy your senior year Ryan and GO ROCKETS!!

{sneak peek – Ashley}

Published by Jan under senior,teen

Ashley’s session was held at Sun City in Huntley and the softball fields at the high school.  It was a balmy 57degrees when the session started.  Yes you read that right 57 degrees. In August.  Luckily her mom is very organized and brought a fleece blanket to wrap her up in between shots and locations!

Ashley has a gorgeous smile, but even though it was hard for her at first to give me a serious look (she kept cracking up laughing!) – I love her intense look!  Ashley is a great 3rd baseman on the third place state champion team and is looking forward to this season.  So we definitely had to shoot some with her uniform and equipment.  Ashley doesn’t know where she is going to college, but she hopes softball is involved, possibly Western.  Enjoy your senior year Ashley!
