Emily ’12 – Burlington Central Senior

Published by Jan at 6:35 am under senior

Emily’s session was held at Sun City in Huntley.  Emily brought along several great outfits and it was a fun session as we wandered about the beautiful grounds with her mom just talking and laughing and getting to know each other!  She has such a natural smile and GORGEOUS hair (I’ve got serious hair envy Emily!)  Here’s some interesting trivia about Emily:

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you:

- I have traveled to the United Kingdom

- On June 6th of 2011 I had a spinal fusion surgery

- I I’ve had a passion for art since I was 6 years old and it all my mom’s fault (in a good way!)

3 things you couldn’t live without:

- I can’t live without my family & friends

- the ability for individuals to have a strong education

- a great imagination

Fav movie or book

I’ve just read “The Hunger Games” I’m addicted.  It was THAT good!

I have NEVER…

seen the Titanic from start to finish

3 pet peeves:

- I get “peeved” when people chew with their mouth open

- interrupt conversations to talk about themselves

- waiting in lines

3 foods for a year, what would they be?

- Candy Canes, Candy Corn & Syrup!  No, I’m just kidding.  They’d have to be:

- Garlic Hummus

- my mom’s chicken avgolemono soup

- Oreo truffles i.e. the heavenly Oreo “balls”

If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

I’d buy myself a hedgehog.  I have an “unhealthy” obsession with the little cute creatures!

If I had 24 hours to live, I would…

I’d spend every hour with my friends and family.  I wouldn’t waste a single moment.

Fav class or teacher in HS. Why?

Mr. Semmen, from Burlington Central High School.  He’s very inspiring and has a lasting teaching method that actually keeps me interested in class.

What are your after graduation plans?

I got into UW-Madison, and will be going there this fall.  I want to take the pre-med route, most likely majoring in bio/genetics or psychology.  This said, I’d love to be a pediatric psychiatrist when I “grow up”

And then a couple “would you rather” just because they are fun!

Would you rather

never use the internet again

X never watch TV again

Would you rather

- never play

X always lose

Would you rather

X get caught singing in the car

- get caught with your fly unzipped

Would you rather

X be able to read everyone’s mind

always know the future

And some of her favorite images!

Best of luck with the rest of your senior year Emily – it’s winding down FAST!
