Malcolm & Dorothy

Published by Jan under children,family

This was the 3rd time I had the pleasure of photographing Malcolm and his sister Dorothy.  This was to celebrate Malcolm’s 5th birthday!  He is getting sooo big and will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.  The session was held at the Fox River Trolley  Museum in South Elgin. It is a wonderful location for children just to explore and wander around all the vintage trains and the surrounding area.

Malcolm is quite the character – loved all the unique expressions he has from mischievous to goofy to reflective to happy-go-lucky!  He is all BOY!

We were even able to see a turtle that wandered up from the river up close!

Isn’t she adorable????  I love her little pigtails!

Thank you again Tara for choosing Jan Nohling Photography to document the important stages of your children’s lives!

Tyler ’12 – Burlington Central Senior

Published by Jan under senior,teen

I just LOVE this picture because it shows what happened a LOT at this session!  With his mom and sister Kylie along it was a very relaxed, fun-filled session with lots of laughter!  Tyler’s session was held at Muirhead’s Farmhouse in rural Plato Center.  Here is some trivia about Tyler-
3 things you couldn’t live without:

- TV

- computer

- car

3 foods for a year, what would they be?

- chicken

- salad

- cinnamon almonds

If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

Put it in savings and I would NOT quit my job.

If I had 24 hours to live, I would

Spend time with family

Fav class or teacher in HS. Why?

Journalism.  I enjoyed being Editor-in-Chief and gained a lot of knowledge from Mr. Lyle.

What are your after graduation plans?

Butler University – Pre-Med
And then a couple “would you rather” just because they are fun!

Would you rather

never use the internet again

X never watch TV again

Would you rather

- never play

X always lose

Would you rather

X get caught singing in the car

- get caught with your fly unzipped

Would you rather

X be able to read everyone’s mind

always know the future

And some of his favorite images!

Enjoy the rest of the summer and best of luck in the fall at Butler!
